Concert 'Opus de nos souvenirs' women's vocal ensemble
Concert 'Opus de nos souvenirs' women's vocal ensemble
Duration 1h15 Schirmeck
Description
To mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War, Opus has decided to pay tribute to the women who lived through this period.
Part concert, part show, the Opus de nos souvenirs project takes us back to the '40s. With costumes and sets, this concert will be like a musical tale. A narrator will bring to life the voices of women and mothers awaiting the return of resistance fighters and soldiers, through the reading of testimonies and the participation of choristers. Through eclectic works in the popular style of French songs, jazz and classical music, we aim to reflect the era of the 1940s.
The choice of musical pieces is based on the artists and composers in vogue in those years. Maurice Chevalier, Lucienne Delyle, Paul Misraki, Edith Piaf, the Andrew Sisters... who brought a touch of lightness to a difficult day-to-day life. View map
